Cabinets
All our cabinets, whether our own or from
Plain & Fancy, are custom-designed and
-built. As a dealer for Plain & Fancy
Custom Cabinets, we have access to their
extensive resources in designing and
building your dream kitchen and baths.
And if Plain & Fancy doesn’t meet your
needs, our own custom shop will. With
almost three decades in manufacturing
high-end case goods, we have the skills to
bring design and materials together to
create the finest cabinetry available
anywhere.
We will provide an estimate ( a range) prior
to design, but because of size and
complexity, cabinets almost always require
design work before providing an exact
quote. Any design fees will be deducted
from the price of the job.
We can meet with you by email, over the
phone, and in person to develop initial
ideas for your cabinets. Once basic design
elements are decided on, we will draw a
detailed rendering of the project for your
approval. From this drawing, an exact price
can be determined, and we can then go
forward with the project.
Furniture
Since almost everything we do is
built-to-order, our initial task is to make
sure we know what you want. This usually
involves your furnishing us with a sketch,
photos or blueprints, along with written
descriptions. Often, we can quote from
these. Sometimes, there are design elements
which we need to work out in drawings before
we can determine an accurate price. If this
is the case, we will quote a nominal design
fee for doing those drawings. When you
decide to have us build the project, we will
apply that design fee to the price.
If the design drawing is not done before the
final agreement is reached, we will do it
afterwards, for use in our shop. We will
send you a copy of this for your final
approval before we begin production.
