For over 27 years, Strider's has built fine custom tables, chests, beds and occasional furniture. We also build and install top-quality cabinets, and are a dealer for the high-end custom line of Plain & Fancy Cabinetry. We do architectural woodworking--including custom mantels and wainscoting. We also build altars, baptismal fonts, lecterns and pulpits. We create fine office furniture for home and business. Our commercial work includes store fixtures, retail displays, shelves and bookcases.

Strider’s primarily serves North and South Carolina, Virginia and Tennessee-- especially the Hickory, Charlotte, Lake Norman and Lake Wylie areas. We deliver and install within a 150 mile radius of Hickory, and can ship both furniture and cabinetry nationwide.

We know the furniture market, and we know current and traditional styles and finishes. We are accustomed to working with both solid lumber and high quality veneers, inlays, turnings and carvings. Our lacquer and conversion varnish finishes are the best in the industry. And our concern with quality and value for our clients is second to none.
